NWB is not quite Parris Island -- not yet -- but we do have our share of rules. Study them closely and you should know them all soon.
Guest Fees:
Guest passes are on sale at the front desk during the summer season. The cost is $2.50 on weekdays, $5 on weekends. A punch card worth $25 is available for the price of $20. All guests must sign in at the front desk.
Alcohol:
As a general rule, liquor is not permitted on the grounds but special dispensation can be obtained in certain circumstances for special functions (see full Rules below).
Glass Containers:
No glass containers are allowed on the pool grounds at any time.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted on the pool grounds.
Ages:
Children under the age of 12 should be under the supervision of an adult or designated caregiver at the pool.
The Dolphin Slide:
The new tube slide is a big hit. But, as you may have guessed, it too has rules... One person at a time; While waiting your turn in line, please remain at the bottom of the ladder until the person on the slide has entered the water and reached the side of the pool; Always go down feet first; No stopping inside the tube. If in doubt, listen to the lifeguard.
Gazebo Rental:
The gazebo is available for members for picnics and parties. Use of the gazebo is free but reservations (in three-hour time slots) are required. When making a reservation, please indicate the number of guests expected so that we may provide extra guards if necessary. Party guests who are not members should pay a guest fee.
Junior Pool/Wading Pool:
The Junior Pool (medium) is for children 6 years of age and younger only. The wading pool (baby pool) is for children 4 years and under. For the safety of the little ones, older children may not use these pools.
Protecting Your Valuables:
Please do not leave valuables in your car. Unfortunately, we have experienced vehicle break-ins and thefts in our parking lot.
Parking:
Parking is prohibited in front of the bathhouse and on the grass. Also, please observe the two spaces reserved for Handicapped parking.
On the Up Side :
Refer a family for full-time membership, and get a $50 "thank you" when they join.
